What a refinishing project this turned out to be! This kitchen underwent a complete aesthetic overhaul, moving from its original finish to a sophisticated, dual-tone palette. By utilizing Milesi 2K coatings we achieved a high-durability coating, which resulted in a “factory-new” look that balances warmth with modern design.
Cabinets were refinished in Jogging Path from Sherwin Williams. Island was sprayed in Studio Clay from SW in a matte-low satin sheen.
This project transformed a dated kitchen into a sophisticated, dual-toned space using high-end materials designed for longevity and a “factory-grade” finish. We sprayed Milesi 2K coatings and the cabinets received a coating far superior in durability to standard 1K cabinet paint.
In addition, this Wolcott CT kitchen was reborn with a bright, vibrant and a sophisticated blue-gray anchor island in the center. The use of the Milesi 2K system ensures that the Simply White remains vibrant without yellowing on all cabinets. Farrow & Ball Parma Gray on the island will retain its depth for years to come.

The two-tone color scheme—Benjamin Moore Stone Hearth in Milesi 2K provides soft elegance on the main cabinets and Hale Navy delivering a powerful statement on the island—creates a truly custom, high-impact space. The entire project is tied together by the classic styling and rich finish of the Aged Brass/Gold hardware, resulting in a kitchen that is both current and enduringly chic.
This project involved a complete cabinet transformation focused on elevating both the aesthetics and the functional design of the space. We created a box above the cabinets to provide a seamless, high-end, built-in look.
The cabinets were meticulously prepped, sanded, primed, and finished with the Milesi two-component polyurethane system (2K). The chosen color, Litchfield Gray, provides a warm, sophisticated, and on-trend neutral that complements a variety of design styles. Milesi paint is known for its exceptional durability, resistance to wear, and smooth, factory-grade finish. Bronze handles and knobs were added creating a layer of elegance and functionality.

Luxurious, classic, stunning, breathtaking…there are no words to describe the outcome of this project. Refinishing done in Tricorn Black. The LRV (light reflective value) on this color is 3, one of the lowest available…it is a true black. The cabinet turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! Used Milesi 20 top coat.
