Next we will prep the work area for sanding & painting. Our mission it’s not only to refinish your cabinets, but leave your kitchen spotless after we’re done. We lay down floor and countertop protection boards, along with other areas to avoid any kind of damage. Afterwards we proceed to remove all doors from their frame and take them to our shop for sanding and painting.
One of the most important steps in the process, professionally cleaning each cabinet door and their frame. This step involves scrubbing and cleaning thoroughly to wipe out any dust, grease, or any other contaminants.
The next step is sanding the door and frame. Our sanding equipment is HEPA certified, which means that it’s designed to absorb dust particles. We will also use wood filler to fill any crack and gaps within the cabinetry frames as well as repair any imperfections or damage from normal wear and tear.
In order to achieve a superior paint adhesion, it’s necessary to use a high quality primer. Primer will also give the cabinets an additional layer of protection for the wood as it ensures its longevity.
After the primer is set we manually light sand each area to achieve a silky smooth surface.
The fun part, spray painting! We utilize professional airless painting equipment which is sprayed in the same direction as the wood veins. After the first coat dries, we apply a second coat achieving a superior factory finish.
After achieving a professional smooth-as-silk finish, we take the doors from our shop back to your home and reinstall them.
